As a foreigner living in Norway, I know firsthand that things can be strange at times to say the least. To state the obvious, moving from sunny and dry South Africa to a much colder and wet climate, not speaking the native language or understanding that greeting a stranger on public transport is a mortal sin, are a few of the challenges that I’ve faced over the past few months. But, amongst the challenges lie absolutely wonderful moments that make Norway an incredible place to call home.
I reckoned that instead of writing a lengthy blog post, I’d rather sift through a fjord load of cellphone footage that I’ve taken over the last few months and put together a short clip on a few things that you can expect when moving to Norway.
What do you think that I’ve left out? Let me know in the comments section below!
